Mexico Government Scholarships for Postgraduates for 2011
The Mexico government has offered four (4) scholarships (Masters 2, PhD 2) to eligible Kenyans for postgraduate studies. The courses are in Renewable energy, computer science and technology
Eligibility
Eligible candidates are only those who:
1. Are serving the country in the Public Sector.
2. Completed two (2) years of continuous service since their last degree studies
3. Graduated in the last ten (10) years
4. Are below 34 years for Masters and 44 years old for PhD. Programmes.
5. Prior knowledge of Spanish language, if not the candidates will learn the language for four (4) Months before commencing on the programme.

Note:
* For Masters Degree application one must have attained 1st class or Upper Second Class Honours degree from a recognized university.
* For PhD studies application one must be a holder of a Masters degree from a recognized university
Application Procedure
Preliminary application forms are obtainable from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology offices at Teleposta Towers, 27th floor room 2702 or Provincial Technical Training Offices.
The application forms can also be downloaded from the Ministry’s website:

Completed application forms, certified photocopies of ID, academic /professional Certificate, Transcripts, Birth Certificate and other testimonials and a proposal in the area of study should be sent or delivered to:

The application should reach the Ministry not later than 23rd November, 2010.
