Position Scope
Reporting to the ICT Infrastructure Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading and repairing all ICT equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Implementing the preventive maintainance plan;
* Monitoring and maintaining hardware for optimal performance;
* Enforcing the Corporate software and hardware configurations standards;
* Repairing, upgrading and testing hardware to meet customer specifications;
* Creating and maintaining standard desktop setup;
* Providing basic training to users on usage of the hardware.
Qualifications /Competencies/ Experience
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications, experience and competencies: -
* Must have a minimum polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics or IT;
* Must have 1+ years of experience with maintaining desktops, peripherals and servers;
* Must have hands-on maintenance experience on PC’s, HP printers, Epson printer etc;
* Understanding and usage of Windows 2000/XP, OS, email systems and Ms Office is a must;
* Ability to analyse, identify and resolve Hardware problems;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
