A local financial institution hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant position:
IT Security Administrator
Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist in the formulation and implementation of the IT Security Policy and change control procedures
* Ensure end to end security and develop safeguards against dynamic cyber security threats
* Streamline the discipline of introducing technology changes required into the IT environment with minimal disruption to ongoing operations
* Monitor and enforce business continuity (and disaster recovery) guidelines
* Interface with other IT and business stakeholders in BCP and recovery efforts
* Assess IS Security threats/risks in the existing information systems infrastructure and determine the impact on business in case of loss or failure of the information systems
* Participate in information systems development by ensuring integrity and controls of information system installed
* Perform systems audit including pre-implementation and post-implementation reviews
* Document all processes involving information systems and change management
Qualifications
* Aged 35 years and below
* A degree from a recognized University in Computer Science/Information Technology (Upper Second Class Honors and above)
* Relevant certification in Information Security (CISA/CISM, CCSP, CCIE, CCSE/CCSA)
* ITIL Certification will be added advantage
Experience
* Five (5) years experience in a busy computer environment, two (2) of which must be at the level of Systems Security Officer, Information Systems Auditor or Change Officer.
* Should be well versed in architectural design, installation of various IT security infrastructure and system development methodologies including information system audit tests
* Should have knowledge of business process re-engineering and risk management
* Working knowledge with databases (Oracle, MS SQL) and application development
* Experience in working in a financial institution will be an added advantage
