Oxfam GB in partnership with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) has set up water, sanitation and hygiene promotion services programme to the refugees in Dadaab Refugee camp. In support of this, we are seeking to recruit an Administration Officer and a Logistics Officer to manage, support design and delivery of a high quality WASH programme.

1. Administration Officer (Ref: KEN/DDB/AO-1)
The Administration Officer will manage the staff welfare issues as per the expected standards. You will be responsible of office management, this includes; ongoing maintenance of the office ensuring all appropriate services and office equipments are maintained properly; ensure the office layout and work areas meet the health and safety standards and reviewed periodically, and organise necessary arrangements for relevant personnel and Oxfam’s visitors travelling to and from the field including travel and accommodation.
You will have a university degree in Business Management or related field with extensive experience of working with INGO with development and humanitarian approaches. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, coupled with the professional credibility required to influence and motivate others to achieve results.

2. Logistics Officer (Ref: KEN/DDB/LO-1)
The Logistics Officer will be responsible of procurement and manage all activities related to warehouse, distribution and transport and ensure all Oxfam GB policies and procedures are followed. You will conduct full tender processes and ensure accountability according to donor and Oxfam GB procedures.
You will line manage staff according to Oxfam agreed policies and practices including carrying out planning, supervision and performance management. In addition you will be required to establish and maintain good contacts with suppliers, government offices, UN agencies and other NGOs with regards to logistical matters.
You will have a degree or diploma and/or professional qualification in Logistics i.e. Procurement and Supply Chain Management with proven working experience in purchasing or warehousing distribution in a humanitarian context. Attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills are essential as well as diplomacy, tact and negotiations skills.
