Nation Media Group, the leading media house in East and Central Africa is seeking to recruit an experienced and self motivated individual to the position of Events Coordinator.

The job holder will coordinate events, road-shows, outside broadcasts, presenter appearances and all other on-ground activities to enhance communication, visibility and listenership for brand growth while facilitating that we are true to our vision of being the Media of Africa for Africa.

Key responsibilities:

    * Planning, organizing, coordination, promoting and facilitation of radio related on-ground activities;
    * Identifies, schedules and maintains suppliers for defined events;
    * Liaison with line managers to aggressively gather information on each project to achieve quality event standards;
    * Conduct research, make site visits, and find resources to help staff make decisions about event possibilities;
    * Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process. Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters;
