Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) is a state Corporation whose objective is to provide quality and sustainable customer focused financial services for the development of the agricultural sector in Kenya.

In order to achieve this objective, the Corporation seeks to recruit qualified and experienced professionals in the following areas:-

The job holder heads the Operations Department and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. He/she is charged with the following responsibilities:-

Responsibilities

1.  Plans, supervises and co-ordinates the functions of the Operations Department
2.  Formulate policies, procedures and strategies for credit delivery and collection;
3.  Formulate credit delivery plans, budgets and programs and oversees implementation;
4.  Co-ordinates the periodic review and updating of credit policies and procedures manuals;
5.  Manage stakeholders relationships and represent the Corporation at stakeholders’ forums
6.  Liaise with all other departments on credit administration matters;
7.  Handle the performance management; supervision and development of staff within the operations department.

Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural economics, Agribusiness or related fields from a recognized university.
•  Professional Masters degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Agricultural economics, Agribusiness or related fields from a recognized university.
•  Computer literacy is a must for the position 
•  Training and exposure in leadership roles

Experience
 Ten (10) years experience at a senior position in a relevant and comparable institution/field
