Overall Job Purpose
To be responsible for the product planning and ensure company’s overall strategy and goals.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Source and develop more clients to buy our products so as to increase customer breath
* Identify new markets and opportunities so as to expand sales and company profitability by preparing action plans for visiting customers and schedules so as to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made on daily and weekly basis.
* Initiate and coordinate plan of action to penetrate new markets resulting from field activities and report market intelligence to sales and marketing manager regularly.
* Communicate new products opportunities, special development, information or feedback gathered through field activities to the Sales and Marketing Manager.
* Identify qualifying leads and consistently close business in order to meet or exceed sales targets
* Liaise with management on best prices to offer customers so as not to lose any sale to our competitors
* Run report and send to the Sales & Marketing manager as and when requested
* Keeping track on the re-order levels and placing orders with suppliers
* Prepare presentations to communicate new product and special developments to team member
* Brief and train the sales force at sales meeting on the market trends and strategies put in place
* Identify and resolve client’s complaints and concerns
* Develop and implement special sales activities such as promotional activities and market analysis to reduce stock.
* Follow-up for collection of payment on all accounts
* Research on about activities from our competitors
* Establish good rapport with existing and potential client
* Follow up on collection of payments and report to the Product Manager
* Develop and implement special sales activities such as promotional activities and market analysis to reduce stock.
* Any other duty and responsibility that may be assigned.
Qualifications.
1. Minimum of at least 2 years experience as a Product Manager
2. Demonstrate success defining, launching and ability to sell IT products or any product
3. Degree in Marketing- preferred
4. Selling IT background -preferred
5. Excellent teamwork skills
