Advice For Job Seekers

Advice For Job Seekers

Hello my dear unemployed Friend,

I know how you are feeling. I am sure it is hard and disappointing to be in such a state of affairs and you look almost hopeless. But you have nothing to blame yourself on. I know you are smart, you are prepared, you are diligent, you are persistent, and you are ready to work hard for your self and your family.
Unfortunately however, you are out of any decent job. It happens, you know, for reasons independent from your personal ability, attitudes, wit or talent. You should not give in to depression, to despair, to inactivity.

You already knocked at all doors, or so it seems to you, you were ready to accept modest jobs you loathe from people you despise. But you were rejected, time after time, no need for your services, thank you.

How long will you still be able to look for new employers, when ever will you be able to continue putting on an appearance of calmness while you are in a nightmare of dark thoughts and you think you cannot endure those humiliations any more?

Now listen to me please. Why should you think that your life, your family, your well being, your achievements, your happiness should depend on people that do not know you, that owe you nothing, that could not care less of you and your problems?

You are the best employer for yourself, you know your skills, you are aware of your weak points, and you have the drive and the will to succeed.

I know the objection. To start a business one needs a capital. As you do not have any significant capital to begin with, you think your access to business, any business, is out of question. It is not so.

In any case I would never recommend to you nor to anybody else to put all available assets in one venture without some previous business experience.

But as you are still in financial straits, you have to do something, if not for yourself at least for your loved ones.

I would like to invite you to think of a different way out. You will build a business by yourself little by little, with care and effort, with patience and determination, with brain and motivation, with attention and perseverance.

On the contrary, keep clear from those promising you GRQ (Get Rich Quick) programs: these are scams. Keep your present occupation, if you have one, however unsatisfactory, or adapt to get one for a limited time.

You must be ready to cultivate your passion or hobby or main interest and you should be serious in your readiness to learn and to invest your time and effort in building a profitable business. You may get help but nobody will do the work for you.

If you made these things right and if you keep and persist at least for six months to one year, following the best plans available, you will be able to see the first promising results of your labor. From that point on your way is open to success.

You will get the proof that a decent job, the one that you invented and realized, is finally capable of giving you the satisfaction and material independence you strived so hard to achieve. It depends only on you……
