Job Description
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) was established by an Act of Parliament in 1995 for the purpose of enhancing tax administration. KRA is the principal revenue collection agent for the Government of the Republic of Kenya.

The Authority is committed to quality service delivery to the business community, taxpayers, revenue collection agents, the general public and the government. The vision of the Authority is to be ‘the leading Revenue Authority in the world respected for Professionalism, Integrity and Fairness’.
To achieve its mandate, KRA engages the services of highly qualified professional personnel.

The Authority is therefore seeking suitable candidates who can adapt to this challenging task to fill the following positions:

Graduate Trainees


The Authority invites suitable Kenyan Citizens for consideration in Kenya Revenue Authority’s Graduate Trainee programme.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an intensive training in all theoretical and practical aspects of modern Tax Administration and managerial skills for a period of 24 months.

Applicants must be aged 27 years or below and be degree holders from recognized Universities.

Note:

Only applicants who graduated in the last three calendar years will be considered, with preference being given to more recent graduates.

Those with Information & Communications Technology (ICT) related degrees should not apply since recruitment of ICT graduates is handled under a separate programme.

General computer skills in Windows Operating System (Windows XP and Office Suite etc), office automation tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point etc.) and use of internet will be an added advantage.

Applications in own handwriting enclosing a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates and testimonials should be sent to the under mentioned to be received not later than 28th February, 2011.
