Summary: Farmchem, a leading agricultural inputs importer and supplier in Kenya, with a focus on East African market expansion and providing innovative farming solutions to farmers is seeking a qualified, dynamic and experienced professional to join our team in the following positions.

Description: HR & ADMIN ASSISTANT

The Position

The HR assistant will be required to assist in implementing and monitoring of HR policies and procedures. In addition the role will involve various front office tasks and administration tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Handling staff records
Staffing, monitoring Time & Attendance Management
Ensuring adherence to Occupational Health and Safety Standards & policy
Scheduling of employee leave, off days & overtime

Assisting in the recruitment process including arranging induction, training, interview scheduling and related records management
Handling incoming calls
Compilation of data to support various reporting requirements
Various administrative tasks as may be delegated from time to time by management

Requirements: Candidate’s Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:


Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management and business administration. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Human Resource/Social sciences will be an added advantage.
A Two years experience in a busy commercial environment and able to work under minimum supervision
Computer literate
Document Management System/Registry experience

Desired Skills and Ability


Is a person of attested integrity, with high degree of stewardship of resources
Have good interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
