Summary: Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Channel Category Sales Development Executive responsible for executing , coordinating and monitoring inorder to achieve channel category objectives.
Description:
· Identify Channels in Market & Classify Outlets :identify Key Channels for the category he or she is handling and Assess Channels for Attractiveness & Recommend Prioritization
· Develop Channel Objectives and Strategies and work closely with the sales team to achieve the same
· Combine Consumer & Trade Activities into a Consolidated Graph Data Activity Calendar by Category by Channel
· Proactively work with the sales team of the country in ensuring country sales objectives are met and suggest action to region on bridging sales gaps as and when it arises.
· Initiate Sales review of the country by brand and by Channel
Requirements:
· Degree in Commerce (or similar), majoring in Marketing.
· 3-5 years experience in a sales/ marketing field.
· Local trade and international retailers knowledge
· Broad knowledge and understanding of customer needs and consumer behavior.
· Analytical skills and financial awareness.
· Well developed planning and organizing skills
· Training and presentation skills
