Our client is a leading global health organization with programs targeting malaria, child survival, HIV
and reproductive health. Working in partnership with the public and private sectors, the non profit
organization provides life-saving products,
clinical services and behavior change communications
that empower the world’s most vulnerable populations to lead healthier lives.

The organization is looking to fill the position of a Reproductive Health Director in their Social
Marketing Department. The RH Director will be charged with the responsibility of leading a team of
staff in the RH department and manage a multifaceted program that comprises of service delivery
and communications components. The RH Director will report to the Social Marketing Director.

Responsibilities
• Lead the growth of reproductive health program through development of long term plans
related to portfolio growth and increased health impact;
• Constantly evaluate program performance and propose changes in strategic direction if
necessary;
• Oversee the development of RH marketing plans and provide support to the communication
team;
• Oversee a functioning social franchise by ensuring that all quality elements are implemented
and provide direction on evolution of the social franchise;
• Development and management of RH budgets;
• Provide leadership to a team of 33 staff in both clinical and communication departments;
• Directly supervise Deputy Director clinical services and Senior Manager marketing and increase
technical and managerial capacity for all management staff in the department;
• Keep track of programs performance vis a vis donor deliverables and report on progress and
provide recommendations;
• Work in close collaboration with the research and metrics department, identify RH program
research and monitoring needs and how to appropriately monitor and measure impact;
• Support the RH program staff to identify, document and disseminate evidence based best
practices;
•Manage stakeholder relations and have a clear understanding of donor environment and
requirements;

Requirements
• Masters degree in business administration, public health or relevant field
•Over 5 years experience in senior management level in a reputable organization
• Experience managing a health program preferably in a donor funded project
• Ability to translate research into decision marketing
•Superior spoken and written communication skills
• Experience in managing budgets
• Staff management experience
• Excellent computer skills
