Job Title: Finance Manager
Reports To: Divisional Financial Manager

Job Purpose/Key Functional Outputs:
Overall country responsible for overseeing and implementation of financial controls, forecasting, cash flow management,
The incumbent will be responsible for:
- Overall strategic and operational financial management;
- Overseeing the full accounting function;
- Preparation of annual financial statements;
- Profitability analysis; including provision of financial information for decision making,
- Overseeing the implementation of appropriate financial and management accounting systems and plans for the country, by introducing appropriate financial and accounting systems, processes, policies and controls;
- Ensuring that monthly financial information is communicated effectively to stakeholders.
- Monitoring cash flow in each country and ensuring that monthly reporting to head office is undertaken
- Interact with the tax authorities of the country
- Request funding from head office based on cash flow estimates
- Reconciliation of financial accounts including bank and clearing accounts.
- Reconcile transactions between an independent debtors system and the accounting system
- Prepare cashbooks and petty cash information accurately and ensure they are submitted in a timely basis to head office.
- Process transactions on in-house accounting system.
- Coordinate and complete annual country budgets and monthly forecasts for the various branches within the country as well as country operations.
- Calculate, complete and submit all necessary forms relating to provisional tax, income tax and withholding tax.
- Calculate and submit all necessary forms relating to VAT.
- Ensure all payments are made in a timely fashion.
- Interaction with external auditors
- Ensure audits are completed within group audit timeliness.
Minimum Required Qualification / Experience
- A qualified Accountant with a recognized B Com (Hons) / B Comp accounting degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years in finance and Administration management experience in an IT environment.
