After the Rapture, the Antichrist comes forth. He goes forth to accomplish his mission. He goes forth conquering and to conquer. However, his coming forth would be many years into the future from Daniel’s time. As it is written, AND THE VISION OF THE EVENING AND THE MORNING WHICH WAS TOLD IS TRUE: WHEREFORE SHUT THOU UP (or seal) THE VISION; FOR IT SHALL BE FOR MANY DAYS (it concerns the distant future-NIV)-Dan 8:26.
The following are references to the Antichrist coming forth:
1. YE HAVE HEARD THAT ANTICHRIST SHALL COME-1 Jn 2:18.
2. I...SAW A BEAST (or the Antichrist, or the Antichrist and his empire) RISE UP OUT OF THE SEA-Rev 13:1.
3. THERE CAME UP AMONG THEM ANOTHER LITTLE HORN (which is the Antichrist)-Dan 7:8.
4. ANOTHER (king) SHALL RISE AFTER THEM; AND HE SHALL BE DIVERSE FROM THE FIRST-Dan 7:24.
5. THAT MAN OF SIN BE REVEALED, THE SON OF PERDITION-2 Thes 2:3.
6. THE PRINCE THAT SHALL COME-Dan 9:26.
7. Jesus warned that IF ANOTHER SHALL COME IN HIS OWN NAME, HIM YE WILL RECEIVE-Jn 5:43. This is that one Jesus referred to. This man, undoubtedly, is alive somewhere on the earth right now, but cannot come forth until the first seal is opened.
8. The coming of the Antichrist is a result of the working of Satan. As it is written, EVEN HIM (this man, the lawless one) (which is the Antichrist), WHOSE COMING IS AFTER (or in accordance with) THE WORKING OF SATAN-2 Thes 2:9. Satan gives the Antichrist his power. The Antichrist’s coming is a result of the works of the devil.
9. It is also written of the Antichrist coming forth, AND IN THE LATTER TIME OF THEIR KINGDOM...A KING OF FIERCE COUNTENANCE (or a stern-faced king), AND UNDERSTANDING DARK SENTENCES (or a master of intrigue), SHALL STAND UP (or arise). AND HIS POWER (that of the Antichrist) SHALL BE MIGHTY (or very strong), BUT NOT BY HIS OWN POWER-Dan 8:23,24. His power shall come from Satan. Satan gives the Antichrist his power. As it is written, THE DRAGON (Satan)...GAVE POWER UNTO THE BEAST (the Antichrist)-Rev 13:4.
10. Seal one of the Revelation shows us the Antichrist. It is written, AND I SAW (or looked), AND BEHOLD A WHITE HORSE (in front of me). White often represents purity. It can represent peace. It can represent victory. However, in this case, it represents a counterfeit of these things. John sees a white horse, AND HE THAT SAT ON HIM (its rider)-Rev 6:2. The white horse has a rider mounted. The rider on the white horse represents the counterfeit Christ. This is the Antichrist being revealed and coming forth, immediately after the Rapture, as the first seal is opened. He is pictured as mounted on a white horse. The white would represent, in this case, the counterfeit Christ—the impostor, the Antichrist, the one that is impersonating the real Christ. It is written, SATAN...MASQUERADES AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT-2 Cor 11:14 NIV.
As Jesus is the actual Son of God the Father, so the Antichrist is the actual seed and son of Satan, THY SEED-Gen 3:15. He is mounted on a horse, indicating he is ready for battle. This is the "little horn" of Dan 7:8. He is also called the "beast" later in the Revelation. Note, the term "Antichrist" is used four times in the Bible. It is used in 1 Jn 2:18,22; 1 Jn 4:3; and 2 Jn 7. Many other names are also used for this man of sin.
He HAD A BOW. It may be noted that he had a bow, but no arrows are mentioned. He had a method of conquering, but not using war. Scriptures show us that he conquers by peace. He conquers with words. This is a diplomat, of sorts, with superhuman intelligence, as his father is the devil.
11. AND A CROWN WAS GIVEN UNTO HIM-Rev 6:2. He is given authority over something. It is believed that the crown represents
authority over the European Economic Community. He becomes the leader of, what many call, the revived Roman Empire. Note, THE PEOPLE
(of the Roman Empire, are the people) OF THE PRINCE (the Antichrist) THAT SHALL COME-Dan 9:26.
12. Seal one of the Revelation also shows us he goes forth conquering and to conquer. AND HE WENT FORTH CONQUERING, AND TO CONQUER (he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest-NIV)-Rev 6:2. He goes forth on the horse determined to conquer. His goal is to be God and rule the world.
Jesus returns after the Tribulation on a white horse. That white horse is not to be confused with this one.
