Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) is a state Corporation whose objective is to provide quality and sustainable customer focused financial services for the development of the agricultural sector in Kenya.

In order to achieve this objective, the Corporation seeks to recruit qualified and experienced professionals in the following areas:-

Some of the Key responsibilities are:-

1.  Supervises the receipting and safe custody of loan collections and advices on portfolio quality trends
2.  Assists in the preparation, development and analysis of management accounting information;
3.  Prepares cash flow statements, income and expenditure accounts besides producing weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports;
4.  Processes payments to suppliers;
5.  Processes disbursement requests for loans at the branch level;
6.  Supervises the receipting and safe custody of loan collections at the branch level and advices on portfolio quality trends;
7.  Undertakes timely collection of other income including rent receivable on Corporations’ properties;
8.  Takes part in budgeting, planning, forecasting and setting performance measures for the business at the branch;
9.  Sits in loan committee meetings and provides advice on matters of financial nature related to loan making; disbursement and collection;
10.  Manages the processing and reimbursement of branch imprest;

Qualifications

•  B Com. – Accounting option or equivalent from a recognized university
•  CPA II or equivalent
•  Computer Literacy is a must

Experience

•  3 years experience in a related field.
