Finken Holdings Limited is a technical trading company anchored through our head office in Nairobi.
We are engaged in procurement, installation, commissioning and maintenance of electromechanical plants and equipment and marketing of food and beverage ingredients.
As part of our growth strategy, we are hiring a technical sales representative to work in our food and dairy department.
Primary Responsibilities
• Promote and sell company products and services to current and potential clients;
• To interact with our clients to ensure our solutions/products meet their demands in operation and functionality;
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made;
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity;
• Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts,
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge;
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals;
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff;
• Any other duty as may be assigned;
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology from a recognized university;
• Three (3) years marketing experience in food and beverage ingredients Industry will be an added advantage;
• Ability to persuade and influence others;
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques;
• Visibility by maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
