Sales Manager Job In Kenya K’sh 150,000

Our client, a major producer and exporter of raw, processed and value added agricultural produce is looking to hire Sales Manager reporting to the Managing Director. The main responsibility for the role is to lead the sales team to increase sales volume and maximize market share.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibilities in this role include:
* Heading the sales team.
* Setting of targets and making sure that they are met within the budgeted profit margins.
* Identifying new regions that the company’s products can be introduced.
* Making sure that the company products are distributed in relevant stores.
* Monitoring product performance of the sales team.
* Monitoring and evaluating competitor activity, providing market information and intelligence.*
* Ensuring that the sales team maintains a clean debtor’s ledger.
* Protecting, developing and growing the existing client base through continuous relationship building and customer services programmes.
* Enhancing customer satisfaction by making sure that customers are satisfied with the service offered to them by the sales team.
* Documenting, reporting and discussing execution of plans, sales and margin analysis and overall productivity with the Managing Director.

REQUIREMENTS:
The position is a very hands-on role, requiring a highly motivated, independent, strong, and assertive Sales Executive who has an outstanding record of sales achievement and who will hit the ground running. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is motivated by job satisfaction and the desire to achieve outstanding results.

The ideal candidate will be aged between 35 and 45 years and have over 7 years’ front line sales experience.

The successful candidate will be a degree or higher national diploma holder in Sales and Marketing with an in depth knowledge of the food industry. He/she will have good working knowledge of all food sales policies (cash, credit, installments) and demonstrate knowledge of sales processes, including the ability to accurately meet customers’ needs.

The successful candidate will be highly numerate, computer literate, have excellent communication and reporting skills and possess a clean driver’s license.

The salary for this position is KShs 150,000 gross with benefits including a company car and medical cover.
