Kitengela International School is an ultra modern school located in Kitengela.

We offer fully fledged Kindergarten, mixed primary both boarding and day and a girls’ only high school.

We wish to recruit dynamic and result oriented professionals to fill the following positions at our school situated at the Greatwall Apartments on Mombasa Road.

Head Teacher

• Bachelor of Education
• Three years work experience as a head teacher
• Age 33 – 40
• Diploma or P1 holders with 5 years experience in a similar position may also apply
• Knowledge of the British National Curriculum is an added advantage.

Teachers – Kindergarten to Std 4

• Holders of P1 certificate
• Minimum 3 years work experience in similar position
• Kindergarten teachers must have a diploma in ECDE/KHA.

Secretary/Bursar

• Secretarial training from a reputable college/institution
• Three years work experience preferably in a school.
• Experience in Windows, Ms Word and Ms Excel is mandatory
• Age 28 – 35

School Nurse/Matron

• Must be KRN/KRCHN
• Age 30 – 45
• Three years experience in the same position
• The successful candidate should be an all round mature lady
• Should be able to live within the school compound.

Drivers

• O-level education
• Driving license class ABCE
• Three years experience preferably in an educational institution

Over the years Safaricom, has built a solid reputation as a company whose success hinges significantly on a culture of constant innovation to address growing customer needs. The recent expansion of our data network has opened up greater opportunities to drive innovation.

As a company, we have in the past made several attempts to include the local community in innovation principally through The Safaricom Innovation Forum. Even then, initial learning gained from wide consultation with the ICT community in Kenya is that there is great scope for improving and expanding these initiatives. This is out of the realization that Safaricom is a key stakeholder in the building of an established and active community of innovators and a culture of innovation in this country and beyond.

Having considered carefully representations and suggestions from the ICT Community, we are actively pursuing the creation of a Safaricom Innovation Board comprising representatives from the public - and in particular direct stakeholders in innovation.

We invite you to nominate individuals whom you feel we should consider inviting onto this board by filling the form and telling us about them. Nomination is open to individuals who have shown leadership in the ICT arena and who have a sharp grasp of the country’s needs and how technology can best be harnessed to address these.

Position: Debt Collector

Responsibilities:

    * Responsible for initiating calls to customers to collect payments and settle accounts, obtains payments, commitment agreements or establishes a repayment plan.
    * Follows set policies and procedures when determining suitable collection solution.
    * Have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.
    * Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Skills/Qualifications:

    * Proper grammar, math, typing, a persuasive negotiator who is quick thinking and able to use information at hand to quickly work out result oriented remedies best resolving issues for all parties
    * Diploma in Credit management
    * Minimum 2 years experience mainly in debt collection in a corporate environment
